Flashbox
The Flashbox has been developed for detection of the dark and
breakdown currents at the Two-beam Test Stand.
It main goal is to determine the spatial and the energy distribution
of electrons and ions ejected from accelerating structure in
different operating conditions.
The flashbox consists of a toroid plus detection plates around the
CALIFES probe beam axis.
Measurements are correlated with the TBTS measurements on the two
beams and RF power of the PETS and accelerating structure.
The Flashbox is installed at the TBTS experiment area.
